The Kogi State Head of Service Mrs Odiyo O. Hannah, on behalf of the entire Public Service has expressed her appreciation to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for all recent approvals meant to enhance the welfare of the Civil Servants and elevate their living standard to an unprecedented height.
Chief among these approvals are: Resuscitation of Vehicle refurbishment Loans, Conduct of up to date Promotions, cash backing of Promotions up to 2018 and approval for the adoption of Federal Public Service upward review of Duty Tour allowance (DTA) for Kogi State Civil Servants.
The DTA rate is said to be more than double the rate that has been in use for ages. All these are in addition to the implementation of The #30,000 minimum wage.
These approvals according to the head of service will in addition to boosting the morale of workers go a long way to strengthen the Service.
This gestures is described as a demonstration of His Excellency’s warm heart for humanity and deep concern for the welfare of Kogi State Labour force in particular.
