Yahaya Bello, Governor of Kogi State, has said he does not frequently visit Abuja like some of his colleagues to seek solutions to security issues rocking his state.
There has been heightened insecurity across the country in the last few weeks, with issues such as herder-farmer clashes, kidnapping, rape and killings on the rise.
Some governors of the affected states, including Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Abubakar Bello of Niger State, Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State, have in recent times visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, for consultations.
